Lady Tigers clashed with Lady Tigers on Friday night, February 1. It was the Ipswich Lady Tigers that won the match up, 73-32.
The Ipswich Tigers broke away from the M-P Tigers quickly by mid quarter they were up 15-0 and had forced 5 turnovers. M-P got a bucket near the 4:00 mark put that was it for the quarter. Ipswich dropped in nine more to lead, 24-2.
M-P continued to struggle with turn overs in the second quarter and got only one more basket in the first four minutes. They warmed up a bit in the last 4:00 getting two from the charity stripe and putting down a trey and one more bucket. They trailed, 42-11, at the half.
The M-P Tigers had their best scoring of the night in the third quarter. With the press gone several players put points on the board. They scored in double digits posting 13. Ipswich added 21 to push their lead to, 63-24.
The scoring pace slowed for both teams in the final quarter as Ipswich utilized their bench more. M-P added eight to their tally and Ipswich 10 leaving Ipswich with a, 73-32, win.
