Grain Bin Accident Claims Area Farmer

The Napoleon Ambulance, along with Napoleon Fire and Rescue were summoned to the Marvin Grenz farm, about 17 miles southeast of Napoleon on Saturday, July 26 in response to Marvin Grenz, 83, being trapped in a grain bin about 1/4 full of corn.

Fire Department Called Out Twice

The Napoleon Fire Department was busy last week, as two fires broke out in the area. Last Wednesday, July 16, the department was called out around 2:30 p.m. to fight a grass fire about three miles northwest of Napoleon.
